It has been a wonderful summer here at Wolfscastle Country Hotel and Spa, with plenty to celebrate during our very special 50th year. From weddings and family celebrations to charity events and new arrivals, our Pembrokeshire country hotel has been busier than ever. Here’s a look at some of the highlights from summer at Wolfscastle.
Celebrating Family Times
Summer is marching on, and what a year it is turning out to be at Wolfscastle Country Hotel and Spa. We have enjoyed a gloriously hot summer as we continue to celebrate our 50th anniversary, with the hotel welcoming weddings, special events, family celebrations and plenty of happy diners. It has been wonderful to see so many familiar faces returning to Wolfscastle, alongside lots of new guests discovering our Pembrokeshire hotel and spa for the first time.
When we say Wolfscastle is a family business, we really do mean it. All four members of the Stirling family can now regularly be found working around the hotel. Andy and Mandy are joined by their sons Ollie, who you will often spot behind the bar, and Robbie, who is getting stuck into life in the kitchen. They even managed to find a week when all four could enjoy a summer holiday together, which is no mean feat when everyone works in the same hotel! Fifty years after the Stirling family story began, it is fabulous to see another generation becoming part of the Wolfscastle story.

Ladies Day – over £1,000 raised for local charity Paul Sartori
More than 100 ladies joined us for this year’s Ladies Day at Wolfscastle, creating a brilliant atmosphere from start to finish. Most importantly, the event raised more than £1,000 for the Paul Sartori Foundation, a local charity providing end of life care at home for people across Pembrokeshire.
A huge thank you goes to everyone who attended, donated, supported the raffle, provided prizes or helped make the day such a success. Everyone looked incredibly stylish, including Wolfscastle owner Mandy, pictured with Stella of Belle’s Story charity and our winner of the Most Stylish Lady. After another fantastic Ladies Day, we are already looking forward to doing it all again next July!
Baby Showers at Wolfscastle
Baby showers at Wolfscastle are certainly having a moment this year! We are seeing more and more families choosing our hotel to celebrate a new arrival, and we absolutely love being part of such a special occasion.
Adama and our kitchen team have been creating beautiful food and sweet treats for these celebrations, helping to make every baby shower feel that little bit more special. From intimate gatherings with close family to larger celebrations with friends, it has been lovely to see the hotel filled with so many happy occasions.

A Very Special New Arrival
There has been another very special reason to celebrate at Wolfscastle Country Hotel and Spa this summer, with some wonderful news from our Head Chef, Seb Smith.
A huge congratulations to Seb and his family, who have welcomed their second child, the gorgeous Sidney Arthur Smith. It has been lovely to have such happy news to celebrate during what has already been a very special summer here at Wolfscastle.
We would like to send our biggest congratulations to Seb and his family on their wonderful new arrival. Congratulations from all of us at Wolfscastle Country Hotel and Spa, and a very warm welcome to Sidney Arthur Smith!
An Incredible Summer in Our 50th Year
From family milestones and new arrivals to charity fundraising and special celebrations, this summer has given us plenty of reasons to smile.
