We are excited to unveil our Beaujolais Nouveau Day menu presenting classic French dishes inspired by our very own proprietor Andy Stirling’s time of training in France.

= Starters =

Soupe à l’Oignon Gratinée – French onion soup topped with gruyere cheese croutons (v)

Salade Niçoise – Fresh searted tuna loin, crispy egg and French beans

Pâté de Campagne – Homemade pork terrine with pickled vegetables

Moules Marinière – Mussels with wine, onion & garlic, cream and parsley

 

= Main Course =

Coq au Vin – Dauphinoise and seasonal vegetables

Beef en Daube – Rich beef stew with rump steak

Babue Poché au Vin Rouge – Brill poached in red wine, vine tomato, asparagus and sauteed new potato

Mille Feuille des Legumes – Layers of flaky pastry & ossau-iraty, courgette, mangetout (v)

 

= Desserts =

Vanilla Creme Brûlée –  Mulled winter berries

Assiette de Fromage – Selection of French cheese with Camembert, Livarot, reblechon & Roquefort

Mousse au Chocolat – Home-made chocolate mousse with crystalized orange

 

Three courses, coffee & half bottle of Beaujolais Nouveau  – £32 per person
